APPROACH project: an in-depth study by ARA Lombardia and the University of Milan
On Saturday 6 November, at 11.00, FAZI hosts an in-depth conference dedicated to the APPROAch project by ARA Lombardia and the University of Milan.
The APPROAch project, funded by the Lombardy Region as part of the PSR – submeasure 16.1, is led by the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policies of the University of Milan and as a partner the Regional Association of Breeders of Lombardy and four pig farms located in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. The project contributes to the environmental sustainability of pig farming by testing two abatement systems (a dry filter and a wet scrubber) to reduce the concentration of ammonia, dust and odors within the project partner pig farms that they care about. the problem of air quality both inside and outside the pigsties.
